Award nominations
We are very proud of all our very accomplished members. Only a few of them, however, are given the honor and recognition during special occasions such as the annual USTMAAA Grand Reunion. Here you will find the list and some information of those "cream of the crop" who were recognized in recent years.
Anybody can be nominated for the awards. Criteria for and guidelines on nomination are also found in this page. You are hereby invited to look around you for those precious few who are deserving of these awards.
Every year, the USTMAAA hands out awards to its outstanding alumni during the Grand Reunion Gala Dinner. The four National Award categories are:
Most Outstanding Alumnus in Community Service
Most Outstanding Alumnus in Academic Achievements
Most Outstanding Alumnus in Service to Alma Mater
Most Outstanding USTMAAA Alumnus of the Year
In addition, each Jubilarian Class can choose the Most Outstanding Class Jubilarian of the Year.
All classes are encouraged to submit their nominations to the Awards Committee by providing the following:
Nomination letter (Word document) perhaps from a classmate, preferably the Jubilarian Representative
2x2 inches, JPEG file, 300 dpi resolution passport picture
Curriculum vitae (Word document)
Supporting papers (digitized or scanned copies certificates, plaques, newspaper clippings, pictures, etc)
The nominee must be registered and be present during the awards ceremony (talent night & gala dinner)
The nominee must be supported by class representation of more than 12 registered attendees
NOTE: A past awardee is not eligible to repeat in the same award category.
Send your nominations to the USTMAAA Executive Office by emailing it to ustmaaa@ustmaaamerica.org.
The chairman of the Awards Committee is Stella S. Evangelista, MD ‘68, USTMAAA Foundation Executive Director.
